MindEarth collects, stores, processes and transmits  personal data in accordance with all the existing laws and the GDPR regulation.
Specifically, MindEarth implements its leading principles that are:

  • the personal data collected are adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to the purposes for which they are collected;

MindEarth implements an array of personal data processing operations during its research and development activities.
Such data might be first-party or third-party and might be used to:
  • study human mobility patterns and/or behaviours (e.g., pople presence in a given areas, number of displaced people, etc.);
  • provide business insights to clients and business partners.

Recipients of personal data

MindEarth uses personal data only for the usual or agreed purposes. MindEarth will never transfer or disclose collected personal data to third parties, unless requested or authorised by the client, partner, supplier or visitor who initially must have provided the data to the company prior to it being processed.

Security: HTTPS and Encryption

MindEarth puts in place and constantly updates  software and hardware safeguards to guarantee the confidentiality and security of your personal data and the information transmitted to us. For example, we encrypt your personally identifiable information, and most, if not all requests from you to the server are created over a secure connection (HTTPS). However, no data transmission over the Internet or other network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Usage of third parties data

MindEarth obtains data licenses from third parties, such as data suppliers and brokers who provide us with commercially available information and data, in order to create products and services. Information about interactions with third-party retail locations, websites, applications, and device data are some examples of commercially available information (including mobile device type and advertising identifiers, such as Apple IDFA or Google Advertising ID, and location data). However, we do not publish or include single-user or device data or other sensitive personal information in the services and products of MindEarth.
